Scrambler Fever 2021
Each subsequent edition of Scrambler Fever brings something new and surprising. There are still new faces and interesting machines. It could not be otherwise at the sixth edition. Teams from all over Poland, Germany and Austria registered in the scrambler village. There was no one dominant brand or model in the machine park. A lot of unique bikes arrived, which are not often seen on our streets and field paths. In addition to the iconic Yamaha XT500, KTM500 Rotax, Triumph Tiger, Kawasaki KL250, you could see the Yamaha BW350 and the Harley Sportster in the off road version.
The event, even though it is definitely a niche, is gaining momentum. Its atmosphere, and above all, THESE people attract more and more people willing to play together. For the first time in history, we had to limit the number of participants in the rally in order to be able to cover everything at the checkpoints without creating traffic . Naturally, the number of accompanying persons and "fans" could be how many the campsite could accommodate, but in the case of participants the limit is 90.
The great thing is that the "Mud, Sweat & Beers" ideology has its "followers" in every social and professional group. Here everyone is equal and can feel like a member of one big family.

This was also noticed by the motorcycle media. Thanks to the editorial office of Motogen and the Drobre Sklepy Motoklowe, you can see the video coverage of this edition on Youtube:
As in previous years, this time you could take the latest scramblers from the BMW stable for a test drive. The guys from BMW Motorrad Polska also brought a novelty: the R18. Yes, we know it's not a scrambler, but when would you have time to ride it if not here, not now and in the circumstances of nature? Hm? This is what many participants thought and the R18 practically did not cool down ..
Anyway... on Thursday evening we prepared a training session on time. The slalom between the trees, bristling with a few traps, although not very long, was a lot of fun and was spectacular. People got sweaty, got tired ... but then the beer on the pier tasted even better! Even though you had to get up the next morning and drive, the bonfire was burning until late ...
Friday, just like Thursday, welcomed us with beautiful, sunny weather. Participants set off on the route at intervals of several minutes. Covering 80 km, solving numerous tasks along the way and checking themselfs in subsequent attempts, took the whole day as usual. The route led along dirt roads, gravel and a real "tanker road" which probably stuck in the memory of some participants the most. Yes, there were crashes, but no offerings to the gods of speed were made.
While the people were covering the next kilometers, the team from TVN Turbo reached the place and gave a report, which could then be seen in the Report on their TV channel. Damn, this edition became really media-focused ..
In the evening, after swimming in the lake, we launched a projection of photos from previous years and an open-air cinema. For many, it was fun to watch their struggles captured with the lens of a professional photographer.
Saturday, eh Saturday ... This day is always dedicated to a chillout ride to the coolest places in the area. This time, due to the high attendance, we shared the trail with participants and we went in several groups to visit the Drawsko Landscape Park. 110 km is enough, especially as the terrain was varied and at the end it was necessary to cross the river earlier, forcing a light mud. A few bikes fell from exhaustion, some from poor preparation. Nevertheless, by evening everyone had reached the camp and the awards could be presented. And there were plenty of them!
